Richard P. Cohrs
Richard P. Cohrs retired in June, 2014, as manager of district and congregational relations for Lutheran Hour Ministries, a position he held since July 2008. In this role, Cohrs served as an advisor to district offices and congregations of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod and provided resources and information to assist them in implementing effective strategies for Gospel outreach. Cohrs helped develop Lutheran Hour Ministries’ Men’s NetWork and served as a presenter for the organization’s Men’s NetWork and Mission U School of Outreach programs.
Prior to joining Lutheran Hour Ministries, Cohrs was a principal and teacher at various institutions in Michigan, Texas and Illinois. He served on various district and Synodical boards and committees. He also served as manager of North American volunteer services for Lutheran Hour Ministries.
Cohrs has been a husband, then a widower and now husband to an awesome Godly woman, Carol. He is a father, step-father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a redeemed child of God.
